Will Packer is a man on the go, Universal Pictures has tapped him to produce a all female comedy movie with Malcolm D.Lee directing it.The creators of the ABC hit sitcom “Black-ish” Kenya Barris & Tracy Oliver will write the screenplay.
Packer’s producing credits include “No Good Deed,” “Ride Along,” “Think Like a Man” and its sequel, “Takers” and the upcoming “Ride Along 2.” He is executive producing “Straight Outta Compton” for Universal, which will be released this August.
Lee recently directed Universal dramedy “The Best Man Holiday,” which has grossed over $71 million, and is in production on “Barbershop 3,” which Barris and Oliver wrote.
