The Internet “Ego Death” Album Review

Tyler the Creator says there is no more Odd Future, but that doesn’t mean members of the Cali collective will stop making music. The Internet headed by lead singer Syd the Kyd & producer Matt Martians, Jameel Bruner, Patrick Paige, Christopher A. Smith, and Steve Lacythey provide new age music to soul music they redefined the boundaries with their illustrious sound. Ego To Death is there third release since they officially formed in 2011. You can never judge a book by its cover because Syd the Kyd voice is soulful and melodic she makes you feel like your on a beach in Maui watching the sunset with your loved one sipping Mai Tai’s. Especially with tracks like “For the World” ft. James Fauntleroy, “Girl” ft. KAYTRANADA, & “Under Control”, but they keep it uptempo as well with the Vic Mensa assisted song “Go With It” .The 12 track album also features Janelle Monae, Steve Lacy, & Tyler the Creator.
