The late great legendary soul singer Teddy Pendergrass will have a documentary that is in the making. The documentary will be financed by BBC films, which the film will focus on his music and events in his life.
Production will begin this April and the film will have interviews from family and friends, industry friends such as Stevie Wonder, plus rare footage of Pendergrass.
Teddy Pendergrass was the lead singer for Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes until he embarked onto his solo career scoring 5 multi-platinum albums. known for his hits Love TKO, Joy, Close the Door, & Turn Off The Lights the Philly native passed away in 2010 at the age of 59.
