Pop Singer Taylor Swift sat down with Vanity Fair magazine and one of the topics she discussed was how her and Kanye West got on good terms.
“I feel like I wasn’t ready to be friends with ‘Ye until I felt like he had some sort of respect for me, and he wasn’t ready to be friends with me until I had some sort of respect for me” says the 1989 singer. “So it was the same issue, and we both reached the same place at the same time.”
She credits Jay-Z for her and West to have peace with one another.
“I think it was important, for Jay Z, for Kanye and I to get along,” Swift says.
“Kanye and I both reached a place where he would say really nice things about my music and what I’ve accomplished,” she continues, “and I could ask him how his kid’s doing.
