Rapper Bella Blaq Drops Charismatic New Single “Booty”
Atlanta based Hip Hop artist Bella Blaq poised to make a major impact in 2021, and is one of the rising stars in the industry. The dynamic artist collaborated with multi-platinum producer Epikh Pro, for her new single “Booty” as the follow up single to “Hands On Me”. Epikh Pro has worked with artists like Bryson Tiller, Cardi B, and Eminem, so she has hit maker in her corner.
With the emergence of female rappers taking over the game such as Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, Saweetie, Noname and many others, Bella is coming for that spot.
Bella unapologetically embraces her sexuality as passionately as she embraces her bars. Never shy in front of a camera fluanting her beautiful chocolate skin her video for “Booty” bounces from sensual scenes, goofy dances and real-life moments of Bella with her friends, counting her money and most of all – empowering herself. The contrast of the phone footage paired with background shots of Bella paints the true versatility of her identity.
She also shows her creative side as the video is shot as though you’re watching the events unfold through a TikTok lens, Bella chose to incorporate the viewpoint through which most people consume media – through their phones. She is more than just eye candy on camera but a potent lyricist laced with charisma. Her passion helped build a platform and gain new followers to get the recognition she deserved.
Bella Blaq stopped by the Music Life Social studio and had the same vibrant energy she has in front of the camera. She spoke about her humble beginnings from Blakely, Georgia where she honed her skills battle rapping her peers and performing at talent shows. As a teen Missy Elliot, Aaliyah, and Lauryn Hill played majored influences in her musical style. Bella has been putting in the work, opening for the likes of 2 Chainz, Future, and Young Dro.
