BET Network has announce the cast of the New Edition biopic miniseries. They still have not titled the upcoming miniseries which will air over three nights, but the casting is already set with some faces that you are familiar with.
Breakout star from the Fox hit series Empire Bryshere Gray who plays Hakeem on the show will portray Michael Bivins ; Elijah Kelley is Ricky Bell; singer-songwriter Luke James is Johnny Gill; Algee Smith is Ralph Tresvant; Keith Powers is Ronnie Devoe, and Woody McClain plays Bobby Brown.
They will begin filming in May and Chris Robinson (ATL 7 Real Husbands of Hollywood) is set to direct the film. New Edition’s long time manager Brook Payne will be co producer.
