Ne-Yo joins Empire for Season 2

The creators of Fox’s hit series Empireare looking to switch things up a bit for season two. According to reports season two will have 18 episodes and the season will be split in half between the fall and the spring with a short hiatus in between. They also may be adding a fourth son to the Lyon clan

The songwriting team will also get a new addition: Ne-Yo.

“We just signed Ne-Yo who’s going to be writing all new music with Timbaland,” FOX co-chairs Dana Walden and Gary Newman have announced.
