KANYE WEST to Star in Musical Comedy “CHIRAQ” by SPIKE LEE

The film “CHIRAQ“ is a film by Spike Lee that’s a musical comedy. This is something we haven’t seen coming from Spike Lee. This is film is based on the Greek classic “Lysistrata“ recently reported by Screen Daily reports, will be starring Kanye West.

Samuel Jackson, Jennifer Hudson, and John Cusack are also suppose to be starring in the film as well. It is scheduled to be released online and via Amazon Original Movies.
Although the Mayor of Chicago Rahm Emanuel wasn’t to happy with the title of the upcoming production, after talking with Spike Lee it was realized that its about a neighborhood in Chicago named Englewood, which is very familiar. Lets see how this comes together, should be interesting.
