Def Jam founder Russell Simmons is partnering up with HBO again. Simmons and his All Def Digital company will produce Def Comedy Jam 25th anniversary special. Also, they are slated to produce two comedy series The Broken Lizard Show & These Are My Friends.
No word yet on when the Def Comedy Jam special will air.
Def Comedy Jam ran from 1992 to 1997, then relaunched again in 2006
