Congratulations to Gwen Stefani on scoring her first No.1 album as a solo artist. Her third solo effort This Is What The Truth Feels Like debuted on Billboards 200 charts at No.1 moving 84,000 equivalent album units ending the week of March 24th.
Stefani’s first two solo releases debuted at No.3, which was her 2006 The Sweet Escape and her Love Angel Music Baby reached No.5 on the charts although it was released in 2004. This Is What The Truth Feels Like released on March 18th has the hit single “Make Me Like You” reached the top 30 of the Pop Songs air play chart.
By having her first No.1 album the No Doubt lead singer has join an exclusive club of artists that have earned No.1 albums as solo artist and part of a group. She’s in the same company as Beyonce and Destiny’s Child, Justin Timberlake & N’SYNC to name a few.
