DJ Premier has been selected to compose the score and serve as executive music producer of the upcoming VH1 original movie The Breaks.
The Breakswill center around three friends’ journey to break into the music industry in 1990. Nikki Jones is a recent graduate pursuing her dream of becoming a record executive. David Aaron is Nikki’s boyfriend that also happens to be the son of a legendary music producer. DeeVee is an aspiring producer searching for the next big rapper.
