Legendary comedian and civil rights activist Dick Gregory has a documentary in the works. The producers of the documentary Andre Gaines and Michele Farinola have started a kickstarter campaign to raise funds for the film. Their goal is $200,000 and with a $10,000 donation you’ll get an associate producers credit along with a private screening of the film.
The film is titled “Dick Gregory: How to Survive in America,” is aimed at exploring solutions to racism, police brutality and civil rights inequality through the eyes of Gregory and his work.
The film is tentatively set for a 2017 release
