West Coast Rap Legends Cypress Hill Drops 10th Studio Album Back In Black

The legendary hip hop trio Cypress Hill has returned back to the spotlight to drop their 10 track Back In Black album. The South Gate, Calif. collective, comprised of B-Real, DJ Muggs, Sen Dog and Eric Bobo, joined forces with 420-friendly lyricist Dizzy Wright Dizzy Wright on their lead single “Bye Bye”.

Last year, Cypress Hill celebrated the 20th anniversary of their self titled 1991 critically acclaim debut album with extended cuts. The group went on to release a successful critically acclaimed 4 more albums in the 1990’s and early 2000s. The group dropped a few more albums here and their in the 2000’s and 2010s as the members focused more on their solo careers. In 2018 Cypress Hill reunited to drop their 21-track Elephants On Acid album.

In addition, Cypress Hill will support the album by joining Slipknot alongside Ho99o9 for the second half of the 2022 Knotfest, as well as their own Cypress Hill Live 2022 trek, which kicks off today (March 18). A documentary on the rap group called, Insane in the Brain: Cypress Hill, will also arrive in the spring.
