New Black Star album coming in May
Earlier this year Yasiin Bey aka Mos Def and Talib Kweli announced Black Star will be returning with a new album produced solely by Madlib.

The Brooklyn duo released their new single “Mineral Mountain” via Luminary podcast co hosted with comedian Dave Chappelle. The Roots frontman Black Thought is featured on the Mineral Mountain track that was also produced by Madlib. Bey and Kweli revealed that their album No Fear of Timewill be released exclusively on the podcast platform Luminary on May 3rd.
No Fear of Time will be Black Star’s second album in 24 years their debut was the critically acclaimed classic album Mos Def and Talib Kweli Are Black Star. That album spawned singles “Definition,” “Brown Skin Lady,” and “Respiration” that featured Chicago MC Common.
