Yasiin Bey and Farrai Sheppard the collective duo known as Dec. 99th release new music “Seaside Panic Room” via Soundcloud. Earlier this week they release a track called “HYMN”. With all the ills happening around the world right now Seaside Panic Room is fitting because it is about preparation for the impending apocalypse.
This is a real treat for fans because music is far and few inbetween from Yasiin Bey aka Mos Def. This dude has gone underground. Farrai Sheppard is a journalist, visual artist, and music producer from Chicago. Sheppard is very active on the social and political front also. He organized a benefit concert in Chicago called Every Drop Counts for 2010 Haiti earthquake relief and served as a US delegate at Open Society Foundation and OSISA’s Open Forum 2012 in Cape Town, South Africa.
