Watch The Trailer For Henry Louis Gates Jr. Africa’a Great Civilizations

Black History month is right around the corner, Henry Louis Gates Jr. and PBS have teamed together to release a 3-part documentary on the civilization of the continent of Africa. The documentary is titled Africa’s Great Civilizations and will focus on African civilization before the slave trade and European colonization.

Gates will shed light on dynasties like the Saadi, Sennar, and the Ashanti empire. Africa’s Great Civilizations will air on PBS Feb.27th through Mar.1st from 9 pm-11pm
