Solange Directs Extended Cut of Film, ‘WHEN I GET HOME’
Solange has dropped an extended director’s cut of her performance art film When I Get Home which was originally released to accompany her 2019 album of the same name.
The Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter edited and directed the 41 minute visual herself. Contributing directors include Alan Ferguson, Terence Nance, Jacolby Satterwhite, and Ray Tintori. The extended cut features unreleased scenes and a new song “Dreams (Demo/2).” The film is set is Solange’s hometown of Houston. Solange shared the extended version of the film at museums and contemporary art institutions around the world.
