Tulsa police officer Betty Shelby has been charged with manslaughter in the first degree for the shooting death of Terence Crutcher after his SUV broke down last week. Tulsa County District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler just made the announcement to reporters.
Through her attorney Shelby has said Crutcher was behaving strangely and ignoring her commands, and she was afraid that he might be reaching for a weapon. More info to come
