Todd Rundgren Announces New Album ‘White Knight’ feat. Dâm-Funk, Daryl Hall, Donald Fagen, Robyn and More

Multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and record producer, Todd Rundgren announced a new album today White Knight his 26th studio album, slated to be released May 12th on Cleopatra Records.

The album included contributions from Trent Reznor, Daryl Hall, Dam-Funk, Donald Fagan, Robyn, Betty LaVette, and more. A tour in April will precede before the album release.

Rundgren also shared the first advance track from the upcoming set, the Robyn-featuring “That Could Have Been Me.” The synth-pop ballad features the Swedish pop star in her peerless torch-song mold, crying “That empty pillow by your side / That could have been me” over lovelorn keys and echoing drums.”
