Thundercat release new single Black Quails
Bassist Thundercat just released a new song titled ‘Black Quails” and announced that he will be dropping an album this spring as well.

The single “Black Quails” features Childish Gambino, Slave’s Steve Arrington, and The Internet’s Steve Lacy on the upbeat funk track. The first single ‘Black Quails” will be featured on the It Is What It Is that is scheduled to drop on April 5th.
Thunder cat talks about his“This album is about love, loss, life and the ups and downs that come with that,” Thundercat said in a press release. “It’s a bit tongue-in-cheek, but at different points in life you come across places that you don’t necessarily understand… some things just aren’t meant to be understood.”
