The Top Buffalo Rappers Leading A Movement

There is on other city other than Buffalo that has been trending up representing emerging hip hop artists in recent years. This upstate New York state city has been over looked as far as talent until now. When we think of hip hop in New York, we think of New York City, no any more. These top Buffalo rappers are out for respect and are representing their city hard. Some these artist have already gained national fame such as Westside Gunn, Benny The Butcher, and Conway. The others are emerging but not far behind. These are Musical Life Social’s top Buffalo Rappers.

2. Conway

Conway A.K.A. Conway the Machine, is the older brother fellow rapper Westside Gunn. Unlike most rappers who rap about gangsta life but never actually lived it, Conway was a gangsta. What better person to speak about jail time, a near death experience, and street violence in a first person perspective, than Conway. Conway has made a name releasing frequent and well received mixtapes online The Devil’s Reject and Rejects He has collaborations for his Everybody Is F.O.O.D. series has included Busta Rhymes, Pete Rock, The Alchemist, Nottz, and Statik Selektah. Another Griselda Records artist and, with Westside Gunn and Conway, Benny The Butcher is a instinctive storyteller with vivid imagery. His projects, particularly 2016’s My First Brick and 2017’s Butcher On Steroids with Green Lantern, earned him praise from the likes of the Wu Tang Clan. He picked up steam with the 2018 release Tana Talk 3, produced by The Alchemist and Griselda producer Daringer.
