The Classic ‘Buena Vista Social Club’ LP Will Be Re-Issued On Vinyl

A duo of musicians offered a insight into Cuban culture, history, and music with a classic 1997 album Buena Vista Social Club, produced by Ry Cooder and lead by Havana legend Juan de Marcos González will be re-released as a double LP of hefty 180 gram vinyl packaged in a gatefold sleeve and paired with a new 20 page book filled with photos and first-hand accounts of the legendary 90s ensemble. The Beuna Vista Social Club was a members’ club in Havana Cuba, becoming a a popular place for musicians to come and play, that closed in the 1940s.

You will not have to wait long. The Buena Vista Social Club reissue will ship on October 30th on Nonesuch Records and World Circuit.
