You cannot put a dollar amount on a life, but it’s bittersweet for the family of Eric Garner. The City of New York reached a settlement with the Garner family to the sum of $5.9 million dollars.
Eric Garner lost his life last July in Staten Island he was a victim of police brutality, where he was choked to death and he was telling officers I can’t breathe, which started”I Can’t Breathe” T-Shirts campaign.
