The dynamic duo Camp Lo dropped a new 17 track album to start off the new year On The Way Uptown. The album is a collection of the 1997 classic pre-Uptown Saturday Night cuts that includes “World Heist” and “A Piece of The Action” which both recently got a fresh 2016 visual, and a demo version of “Luchini (This Is It)” among other gems.
The majority of the original album was produced by Ski Beatz, famous for his work with Jay-Z. Camp Lo the Bronx duo consists of rappers Sonny Cheeba (Salahadeen Wilds) and Geechi Suede (Saladine Wallace) have been a mainstay in hip hop. The duo is perhaps best known for their 1997 hit, “Luchini AKA This Is It.”
Over the years they released other albums and solo projects. Just recently Geechi Suede released new solo album, 0.9 NyteLife FM, which is produced entirely by SaL GuoD ‘n’ ReXxX of NyteLife.
