Rick Ross release his ninth studio album today  ‘Rather You Than Me’, and it is star studded. The four-time Grammy-nominated hip-hop star’s guest-stacked  his new album with guest features from Young Thug, Wale, Gucci Mane and Meek Mill to Future, Yo Gotti, Raphael Saadiq, Jeezy, Nas and more.

Ross also took shots at Nicki Minaj and Birdman.

On the opening track, “Apple of My Eye,” Ross raps, “I told Meek I wouldn’t trust Nicki/Instead of beefing with your dog you just give him some distance,” referencing the break up of Minaj and Meek Mill.

He went hard at Cash Money Records co-founder Birdman on the song “Idols Become Rivals.”  He shared his disappointment with him, but the line about Lil Wayne really stood out.

“I pray you find the kindness in your heart for Wayne/His entire life, he gave you what there was to gain/I watched this whole debacle so I’m part to blame/Last request, can all producers please get paid,” Ross raps in the third verse.

The 14 track LP Rather You Than Me is the MC’s first LP released under Epic Records, since he left his previous label Def Jam back in 2016.
