Grammy award-winning singer Natalie Cole passed away Thursday evening on New Years Eve at the age of 65. Both of her kidneys failed in 2008 from hepatitis C but she received a kidney in 2009, even through her health issues she still found a way to record and tour throughout the country.
Cole is the daughter of the late famed legendary jazz musician Nat King Cole. Her father passed away in 1965 when she was 15 years old. She’s known for such songs as “This Will Be” and “Our Love” and recorded “Unforgettable … With Love,” a best-selling album of songs made famous by her late father, Nat King Cole.
