Nas & Miss Info Launch New Podcast The Bridge:50 Years of Hip Hop

Nas and Miss Info launch new podcast

MC and entrepreneur Nas is getting into the world of podcast like many of his musical counterparts. Nas will be teaming up with Miss Info, who will serve as his co-host for the Mass Appeal podcast titled “The Bridge: 50 Years of Hip Hop.

The podcast will focus on Hip Hop through past fifty years, where Nas and Miss Info will discuss some of their influences. Nas states “This is our opportunity to go deep and explore how Hip Hop went from the microphones, turntables and sound systems to big business and a worldwide cultural phenomenon,” and Miss Info also adds “Every week me and Nas talk to our personal heroes and the creative forces that shaped Hip Hop and helped it grow,”  For the readers who are not familiar with Miss Info she was a music journalist at The Source and famously known for giving Nas debut album Illmatic five mics and a former radio host at New York’s Hot97.

The Bridge: 50 Years of Hip Hop podcast will be produced by Mass Appeal along with Spotify and will have guest appearances from Ice Cube, Mary J.Blige, Cordae, and DJ Jazzy Jeff among others. Nas and Mass Appeal are on a campaign documenting 50 years of Hip Hop that entails a Hip Hop 50 the Soundtrack plus EPs from Swizz Beatz, DJ Premier and Hit-Boy. Showtime will air documentaries as well that will be available in December.

Season one of The Bridge:50 Years of Hip Hop podcast will debut November 16th.
