’90’s Top 20 R&B ft. Rap Collab

The 90’s music took a significant turn especially and R&B and Hip Hop (rap). The artists or groups rarely collaborated with each other prior to the 90’s some of the notable collaborations were LeVert & Heavy D , Jody Watley & Eric B. & Rakim, and Al B. Sure with Slick Rick. Those collaborations and a few notable others helped kickoff some of the most memorable classics and timeless R&B featuring Rap collaborations from the 90s.

So Music Life Social has put together their Top 20 R&B featuring Rap artists or group collaborations from the 90’s. This list is based on impact on how both genres were affected, how said artist(s) reached another audience outside their genre, streets and club impact as well. This list is not strictly based on sales alone because this list is not solely based on that we are talking culture impact.

19. Rell ft. Jay-Z “Love For Free”  1998
