West Coast O.G. MC Eiht unleashed his long anticipated album “Which Way Iz West” collaboration DJ Premier today. On paper it seemed like a odd pairing, because of the style differences. We are so used to those Preemo hard hitting East Coast beats, and MC Eiht laid back West Coast flow. I have to say they pulled it off, so chemistry is there.
Premier produced five tracks on the album, but also executive produced the entire project. The album has plenty of lyrical talents featuring Kurupt, Lady Of Rage, Cypress Hill’s B-Real, WC, Xzhibit and more to spit on the 15-track project.
MC Eiht showcases his versatility, holding his own on the East Coast heavy beats. “Heart is Cold” is one of the hardest record’s on the album. Overall this is good album and not to be looked over.

In anticipation of the release, Eiht launched the “GEAH Campaign 2.8,” and recruited several notable artists to shout out the album, including Dr. Dre, J. Cole, DJ Khaled, Ice-T, Fat Joe, Tech N9ne, Kendrick Lamar, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Remy Ma, Papoose, Queen Latifah, B-Real, Sway Calloway, The Game, Lil Jon and Nas.
