Actor/comedian Martin Lawrence is returning to the comedy stage with his new stand up special. Martin’s special is titled Martin Lawrence Doin’Time:Uncut and will air on the cable network Showtime.
This will be Martin’s third stand up comedy special his 1994’s You So Crazy was critically acclaimed and his 2002 Runtelldat! grossed over $20 million dollars.
“I look forward to having my third concert film premiere on Showtime,” Lawrence said in a statement. “Fourteen years is a long time between concert specials and I am excited to know that my TV audience will be able to enjoy this show as if they came to see me live.”
The special was filmed at Orpheum Theater in L.A. during his recent tour run.
Martin Lawrence Doin’ Time: Uncut will air on Showtime Sept. 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
