2021 could be the year rapper Lebbs separates himself from the crowd. One half of rising Portsmouth, England hip hop innovators PROSPECTS dropped a new single ‘Right One’ featuring sultry voice Vorakhanh singing the hook via Brain Scran Records
.He sonically meshes heavy jazz, hip hop and neo-soul together to create his own sound while maintaining the essential elements of each. The laid back rhythms and lyricism are still sharp as dart.
The black and white visual is a free spirited as song with jazzy infectious melodies. Its funny a Youtube viewer Londingham Switch commented on the video “VIBES. Love the casual Hold my Beer when the verse drops”. That is respect of how smooth Lebbs is with that laid back vibe.
The U.K. rapper’s first offering is an insight into the emerging lyricist’s recent creative direction. As time goes by, months start to blend together and we forget about certain artist or songs. That doesn’t apply to to Lebbs because he has a unforgettable style and combined with brilliant production.
