AfroMantis, a dynamic, culturally rich collective of DJ’s, producers, and performers hailing from Southern California, founded by producers NagAzul and Danni G. This powerhouse crew introduces a type of African fusion that melds gospel, electronics, voices and rhythms. Together these seasoned entertainers from Venezuela, South Africa, Nigeria, Trinidad, and the United States, forming a fusion of talent that mirrors the diverse tapestry of the African diaspora.
The collective released a series of mixes masterful blend of Ampiano, Gospel and Afrobeat. The AfroMantis ensemble blend cultural influences and musical talent to create a unique and powerful sound.
The track “Sucuru” is a very vibrant collaboration by AfroMantis and international sensation Sofiya Nzau hailing from Kenya. With her sonorous voice, she heralds the greatness of Heaven and earth.
“Glory” with its pulsating beats and excellent infusion of gospel hymns is brilliant.
The Valley is one of my personal favorite tracks. The track fuses Afrobeats. gospel and soul – a perfect recipe for a celebration.
