Kendrick Lamar dropped his final album for TDE Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers

Finally Kendrick Lamar has released his new album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, his first solo album in five years.  Lamar announced this will be the final album for Top Dawg Entertainment last month with a link to his Oklama website, which revealed the LP title and release date.

As I produce my final TDE album, I feel joy to have been a part of such a cultural imprint after 17 years. The Struggles. The Success. And most importantly, the Brotherhood. May the Most High continue to use Top Dawg as a vessel for candid creators. As I continue to pursue my life’s calling.

There’s beauty in completion. And always faith in the unknown.

Earlier this Lamar dropped the single from the album ‘The Heart Part 5’ and video co-directed by Dave Free and Lamar uses deepfake technology to transform himself into people such as Kanye West, Kid Cudi, OJ Simpson, Will Smith, Kobe Bryant, Jussie Smollett, and Nipsey Hussle.

Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers arrives as a double album with features from Kodak Black, Blxst, Amanda Reifer, Sampha, Taylour Paige, Summer Walker, Ghostface, Baby Kem, Sam Dew, Tanna Leone, and Beth Gibbons.

Lamar  revealed the cover artwork for his new album yesterday.  It features Lamar wearing a roped crown with thorns on his head with a gun tucked into his waistband holding a child; in the background is a woman with a baby, shot by Renell Medrano.
