Soul Singer Keeyen Martin Drops Red Hot Single “Separated”
North Carolina native Keeyen Martin has come a long way since Music Life Social first interviewed him in 2016. The Atlanta based singer released a new red hot single “Separated” today.
The soul crooner sings about the strife in his relationship and on being separated would be the best option for both parties. Martin states its no need for anyone to be hurt and happiness is the ultimate goal, (“Me and you together its always been stormy weather / And never have I ever played fool / tried to keep cool/ And every single time, you found a way to cross the line.”)
ON THE RISE: SOUL SINGER KEEYEN MARTIN
Back in 2016 Martin was featured as one of the artists on the rise. He just dropped the EP The Suitcase featuring the crossover of soul, and pop hit song “Suitcase”. The EP was in heavy rotation for the next three years lighting his path to stardom.
Fast forward to 2020 and Martin just recently performed during Grammy week to sold out shows. He also walked the red carpet at the 62nd annual Grammy Awards.
Currently he is on the last leg of his nationwide tour. He has had two sold out tours, one with Sofar Sounds as well as an international tour in Italy. He announced he will be releasing a new project in early spring 2020.
