The film Get Out has become the most profitable movie of 2017 thus far. Comedian Jordan Peele made his directorial debut of Get Out and was also the writer of what critics and fans deemed a classic on a budget of $4.5 million dollars.

Get Out was backed by Blumhouse productions, which they saw a 630 percent return on their investment. The film grossed $175 million domestically and $252 globally. Jordan Peele is all the buzz in Hollywood with the success of Get Out, and he has stated that there will be more films that focus on race and culture in today’s society.
