Jhene Aiko Releases Her Third Studio Album ‘CHILOMBO’ ft. Nas, John Legend, Ab-Soul and More
Jhene Aiko has one of the unique and appealing voices in the R&B game. She released her third studio album Chilombo overnight taking social media by storm.
Chilombo, is Jhene Aiko’s legal surname which means wild beast.
The 20-track LP includes a dynamic list of guest features from H.E.R., Future, Miguel, Ab-Soul, Nas, John Legend, and Ty Dolla $ign. Plus, Aiko’s on-again/off-again boyfriend Big Sean.
Aiko addressed her 9.3 million Instagram followers, thanking them and her team for the support through this process.
“I am so honored to be surrounded by a team of family and friends who aren’t afraid to step back during my eruptions, who support and join me on all my adventures.. who challenge me, who comfort and support me… and who give me my space, but never leave me alone long enough to self destruct. I love you and I love this journey… it has truly been the reward.”
The Los Angeles native broke out on the scene in 2013 appearing on (now boyfriend) Big Sean’s “Beware.” Her first project The Sail Out EP yielded classic songs to date, including “3:16AM”, and “The Worst.”

A few weeks ago Jhené Aiko announced “The Magic Hour Tour” in support of her new album, Chilombo.
The North American launches May 1st in Boston, MA. Aiko will be headlining shows in 30 North American cities, as well as take the stage at the Lovers & Friends Music Festival in Los Angeles and Hangout Festival in Gulf Shores, AL.
