George Clinton comes out of retirement
Funk legend George Clinton announced that he’s coming out of retirement and will be accompanying The Parliament Funkadelic for the One Nation Under A Groove tour.
In August in 2019 George Clinton appeared to have played his last show with the Parliament Funkadelic and in a statement he told Rolling Stone “Even though I feel like I’m just getting started, the reality is the group needs to go ahead and keep it going.”

The Parliament announced this week the tour dates for their One Nation Under a Groove 2022 tour, which kicks off in June in New York City making stops in between Philadelphia, Ft.Worth, TX, and Las Vegas to name a few. The Parliament Funkadelic released their last album Medicaid Fraud Dogg back in 2018 that featured Houston native and Hip Hop legend Scarface.
