Future lands his 7th number 1 album

Atlanta rapper Future has reached another musical milestone with his most recent release High Off Life LP.  The FREEBANDZ founder surpassed Elvis Presley  for having the most Billboard Hot 100 hits.

Future now has the fourth most charted entires in Billboard history because 12 songs from his High Off Life album debuted on the Hot 100. Previously the record was held by Elvis and Nicki Minaj, who Future has collaborated with in the past. Both Presley and Minaj had 109 songs, while Future logged in with 110 songs from his catalog.

Future released a statement via Twitter saying “7 number 1 albums and they mentioning me with ELVIS PRESLEY,” “Grateful and beyond “THANKFUL’.”

High Off Life has already been certified gold moving 153,000 units in its first week and his lead single featuring Drake “Life Is Good” went platinum 7 times before the High Off Life album release.

The current record is Drake at No.1 who has 222 songs, the cast of Glee is at No.2 with 207, and Lil Wayne rounds out the third spot with 163 songs.
