Entertainment mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is always giving back and this time he is donating his money to a charitable cause that goes unnoticed. Diddy has donated $200,000 to the Suubi “Hope” Health Care Center in Uganda. This charity is to improve the maternity of women’s healthcare.

Apparently Diddy was inspired by his artist French Montana, who donated $100,000 of his own money when he was in Uganda filming a video for his song “Unforgettable” that features Swae Lee of Rae Sremmurd. In a statement to Rolling Stone Diddy said I’ve always said my purpose is to inspire and empower the next generation to become great leaders – and to honor their hustle along the way,” and “In addition to passing the torch to French, I’m showing my support for the work he is doing in Uganda. Not only will Ciroc be donating $100,000 to support the organization Mama Hope, I am matching the donation so that our stories and successes can benefit as many people as possible.”

Not only did Diddy and French Montana donate money, but Canadian singer The Weeknd also donated $100,000 the Mama Hope and Global Citizen charity, who will be responsible for the donation disbursement. The money donated by all three artist, which is a grand total of $400,000 and the money will go towards a birth house, ambulance, and a prenatal care clinic.

Diddy took to social media to express his support for French Montana and him giving back “It’s important to give back and be an agent of change,”The Fourco-host said in a post on Instagram on Jan. 16. “That’s a core part of being down with the BAD BOY FAMILY! Proud of you @frenchmontana and the year you’re having!!”

Diddy is currently one of the judges of the new Fox talent show The Four along with DJ Khaled.
