Courtney B. Vance Wins Best Actor Emmy in a Limited Series or Movie, Regina King Wins Her Second Emmy

It was a huge and impassionate night at the Emmy’s last night. Courtney B. Vance was awarded Best Actor in a Limited Series or Movie for his work as Johnnie Cochran in FX’s stunning The People v. O.J. Simpson.

It was a big night for the series itself. Co-stars Sarah Paulson take home Emmy gold for Best Actress in a Limited Series or Movie and Sterling K. Brown took Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie. Courtney B. Vance, who played the late Johnnie Cochran superbly, also won his first Emmy Award gave a inspiring acceptance speech about the importance of education.

The last line of his speech was dedicated to his wife, “To the woman that rocks my chain, Angela Evelyn Bassett, this one is for you girl.”

Regina King took home her second statuette for her role on ABC’s American Crime. Here is the full list of winners.
