Cellus Hamilton Drops New Single “Same War”
Atlanta hip hop artist Cellus Hamilton shares his love for Jesus through song and speaks the gospel. As a lyricist Cellus pushes the envelope of conceptually talking about God in hip hop music in a creative way. The Christian emcee dropped another thought provoking new single Same War featuring Chicago emcee Brittney Carter with extraordinary production by Temper.
The track explores the mental warfare of fighting to believe that Jesus has freed you from even the things that don’t seem like they’ve let go of you yet. After I listened to the track I got chills because his cadence and word play reminded of Andre 3000. I had to hear more, one song was not going to cut it.

I listened to Cellus 2019 album Washing Her Feet and I was impressed. He shares musical snippets, short stories, and testimonials detailing pieces of his faith journey. What makes Cellus different from other Christian rappers is that he is not preaching to you, but sharing his stories you can relate to.
I highly recommend listeners put Cellus Hamilton in their rotation and stream his latest single Same War.
