Big Daddy Kane shoots pilot for a new tv sitcom
Hip Hop icon Big Daddy Kane will be venturing into the world of television and he will be joined by another icon as well. Eric B. of the legendary group Eric B. & Rakim fame is partnering with Big Daddy Kane on shooting a pilot for an upcoming TV sitcom aptly titled “Daddy’s House.”
The premise of the show is Kane’s character is a former popular radio personality, who is divorced and now owns a trendy restaurant in Atlanta, GA. While it may seem his character is getting accustomed to his new life of owning a successful restaurant and being single, however things quickly change when his two teenaged children show up on his doorstep.

Daddy’s House will be directed by actress/director Terri J.Vaughn who is notably known for her role of the WB tv sitcom The Steve Harvey show. Vaughn will also portray Kane’s ex-wife on the show as well. Jeff Farley of Mayja Productions will serve as the writer for “Daddy’s House,” but there is no word as of yet when the pilot will air.
Big Daddy Kane is no stranger to film or television he has appeared in movies such as Posse and Meteor Man, and has made guest appearance on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
