RnB star Beyonce went country last night and lit up the stage at the 50th Annual Country Music Association Awards. The Texas native took the stage with the Dixie Chicks and performed “Daddy Lessons” off her album “Lemonade”. The queen displayed she is very multi talented across different genres.

Off course their were rumblings this week about her upcoming performance from die hard country fans and musicians. The Dixie Chicks lost some fans back in 2007 and have been the target of conservative critics for infusing politics into performances on occasion.

She is not the first pop star to perform on the CMA stage. Last year, Memphis born Justin Timberlake performed with Southern rock and country star Chris Stapleton.

Not only did Beyonce’s voice light up the stage but her attire did as well, wearing a dazzling, long-sleeve mermaid gown in lace, beads and crystals from Zuhair Murad’s Spring 2016 Couture collection.

The performance was outstanding and high energy. Bey pulled it off and proved there is not a stage she can’t slay.
