The self-produced 11-track effort was recorded in Mississippi and New York and mixed by Dave Fridmann. Expect a lot from this group because their stylistic variations of Neo Soul, Indie Rock, and Alternative. Ava Luna has always had a weird unexpected sound with a jagged edge. The sound was something to admire, so don't expect anything less. The album is definitely infused with funk and neurotic pop. Overall it is a good album.
