Brooklyn art funk ensemble Ava Luna released their new album, Infinite House via Western Vinyl today. The self-produced 11-track effort was recorded in Mississippi and New York and mixed by Dave Fridmann.
Expect a lot from this group because their stylistic variations of Neo Soul, Indie Rock, and Alternative. Ava Luna has always had a weird unexpected sound with a jagged edge. The sound was something to admire, so don’t expect anything less. The album is definitely infused with funk and neurotic pop. Overall it is a good album.
The new single “Coat Of Shellac” lead singer Felicia Douglass is on point with her sweet and sultry voice. Check it out below via its eye-catching lyric video. Purchase the album at Itunes.
