Q-Tip the Abstract personally letter to Tribe fans was a trending topic last week because he announced that A Tribe Called Quest will release their final album on Nov.11th.
The title of the album We Got It From Here, Thank You For Your Service, the title was approved by the late great Phife Dawg and has guest features from Andre 3000, Kendrick Lamar, Jack White, & Busta Rhymes. This info came to light from Toure via the New York Times.
The group recorded the entire album at Q-Tip’s home to make it more organic with no mailed in verses they felt inspired after their performance on the Tonight Show w/ Jimmy Fallon. The album also features Consequence and Elton John as well.
