A Hip Hop Story, a movie by Affion Crockett and directed by Damaine Radcliff.  These two have collaberated to make an educational , funny , epic film.  Having the writer and director act in the film gives a more authentic feel when creating and improvising on set.  Affion Crockets (Rosco Simmons) character and Damaine Radcliff ( Froway) and John O. Nelson (J Bum) carry the film through some events in hip hop not to be forgotten about.

Selecting a good cast to complement all aspects of the film was right on.  Picking the cast members for the feature had to be a gift.  Having the likes of Cedric the Entertainer (Notorious Bag),  Lil Mama (Mc Ryte) , Wayne Brady (Freddy),  Lil Ray Howery (Big Greg),  shows the support and good reputation that Affion Crockett has.  Other cast members that played characters of known artist were Jevin Smith (45 Cent),  Craig Waynes (Mc Slammer), Lourdes Gonzalez (Okrah Whitney), Paris Scott Allen (salt) Savvy Amusing (Kanway West), Skeet Carter (Funkmaster Flax), Page Kennedy as (pastor Simmons). The collective effort of the talented actors brings out the emotions of real and funny points highlighted in the film.

As a lover of Hip Hop we get to see things that the new generation might not know about. Here’s the chance for bonding, teaching and learning a part of our culture. This is a funny film that takes a step back and to see how we can move forward in a better direction for Hip Hop.  This film is a must see.
