This track was actually released a couple of weeks ago but it was so hot, I had to post it. Manchester, UK native JP Cooper singer-songwriter released falsetto laden record “Party” featuring London lyricist Kojey Radical.
Te blue-eyed dreadlocked singer has soul. If you listen to his tracks from When Darkness Comes EP, the 4-song project explores a journey of love, longing and loss combining folk, blues, soul and gospel.
JP Cooper’s early influences were Donnie Hathaway, Bill Rivers and Stevie Wonder, Cooper was also a singer with Manchester’s finest gospel choir, The Manchester Sing Out Choir.
On this latest track “Party” Kojey Radical really. He has been putting it down for a minute and has really progressed as a artist. His words flow is so effortless.
