Singer Elle Varner posted on her Instagram earlier today about society forcing sex down young women’s throat and young girls are not sexual objects. Elle was responding to a post on on Instagram where a sign was posted stating a girl’s school day was interrupted because her shorts were to short and was sent home to change. The school wants to make sure she is not a distraction for boys.
At the bottom of the sign it states “Instead of shaming girls for their bodies teach boys teach boys they are not sexual objects”. Elle opposed this view in a long instagram message. In short she said education is key and the most important factor not dressing young girls up like sluts.
Elle has received so much backlash for her comments immediately on twitter.
