Motown Records legend Smokey Robinson received the 2015 BET Lifetime Achievement Award yesterday. Smokey’s spans over 5 decades as front man for the Miracles, writer, and producer. Smokey Robinson wrote some Motown’s biggest hits. His songs has been covered and sample by many present day artist.

Artist such as Ne-yo, Robin Thicke, and Tori Kelly paid tribute in live performance covering his songs during the show. To top it off Smokey joined in and rekindle the magic that made him a star and showed why his music has stood the test of time.
