Snoop Dogg wants America to Crip
Legendary Hip Hop icon and Long Beach representative Snoop Dogg made an announcement via instagram over the weekend. Snoop Dogg posted a photo on what appears to be the cover art and title of his new project Make America Crip Again. The album is slated for an October 27th release date.
RECOMMENED: MARTHA & SNOOP POTLUCK DINNER PARTY SEASON 2
The title is a play on words on President Trump’s campaign slogan “Make America Great Again.” Snoop did not hide his displeasure of Trump being President. In the BADBADNOTGOOD video “Lavender” Snoop is seen kidnapping and chaining a character what appears to resemble Trump, but the characters name is Ronald Klump and Snoop takes a toy gun and fires it at him. Of course that did not sit well with Trump, so he tweeted “Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!”
What’s ironic is that Snoop and Trump were friends at one point because Snoop was one of the guests at Donald Trump’s roast that aired on Comedy Central a few years back I guess it was all good just a week ago.
This will not be the only project that the Doggfather will be releasing. In the spring he was on Dr.Dre’s show The Pharmacy and said he will be working on a gospel album as well. Besides releasing new music you can catch Snoop on the small screen. The second season of Martha and Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party airs on VH1 on Monday October 16th at 10 pm est.
On the first episode of Martha and Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party they will have guests Jaime Foxx, Patti LaBelle, and Charlie Wilson, where they will be celebrating Snoop’s birthday. Guests on season 2 will be George Lopez, Diddy, and Usher.
Snoop Dogg’s last project was Neva Left.
